I have been translating quite a few computer games lately including everything from brutal action shooters to cute and cuddly girl flicks.
Apart from the obvious entertaining aspects of dealing with games, I find it interesting to dive into the wide range of text styles and genres from character dialogue and in-game text to manuals and technical guidelines.
I have worked with several different types of platforms: Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2 & 3 etc.
